Volunteer with the Band
We are grateful for all the volunteers who support the programs for the AOMS Band Students. Our band program grows and thrives each year due to the amazing effort and support of all our volunteers.
Below are some of our Volunteer opportunities. Opportunities for volunteering occur throughout the year in various areas. Please also refer to the weekly Band newsletters for more volunteer opportunities! “Popcorn Fridays” is a fun and easy way to support AOMS Bands! This is a weekly activity that, when spread across enough volunteers, isn’t a huge time commitment. You will arrive on campus at 1:15/1:30pm to setup so there’s time for the popcorn to pop. You’ll work closely with Mrs. Browne or a student representative to set up the popcorn machine outside the Band room. When the bell rings at 2:20pm, students will line up to purchase popcorn. You’ll help serve and when done, break everything down. Super easy! Students are expected to help out their parents - unless of course you don't want them to! This is also a FANTASTIC way to engage with the student community and see what's happening on campus AND help out THE BAND!!!!
